  12. AURORA SOFTWARE ANNOUNCES VERSION 2.0 OF QUICKSTART QuickStart 2.0 will
  13. support NEXTSTEP for Intel Processors
  14.  
  15. MADISON, WI --- April 20, 1993 --- Aurora Software announced today that
  16. version 2.0 of QuickStart(TM) will ship next month.  This version will run on
  17. NEXTSTEP for NeXT computers and on NEXTSTEP for Intel Processors.

  19. QuickStart 2.0 adds powerful new features to QuickStart, including support for
  20. documents and folders, sections, invisible application tiles and automatic
  21. system load monitoring.  In addition, QuickStart has been enhanced to take
  22. advantage of NEXTSTEP 3.0.

  24. "In QuickStart 2.0 we aimed to create the ultimate dock extender/application
  25. organizer," said Victor Barger, president of Aurora Software.  "By supporting
  26. NEXTSTEP for Intel Processors in this release, we are demonstrating our

  29. Barger anticipates an enormous demand for QuickStart among portable computer
  30. users, who generally suffer from limited screen space. QuickStart 2.0 sports
  31. special features to help such users utilize all available screen space.
